Newly Developed High Performance Full HD 2/3-inch CMOS Sensors
The HDK-73 utilizes three 2/3-inch 2.6 mega pixel CMOS sensors, each capable of capturing full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution images and a wide dynamic range of more than 600%, and giving you an excellent sensitivity of F12 (60Hz) / F13 (50Hz) and high signal-to-noise ratio.
Native Multi-format
The CMOS sensors support progressive and interlace readout, natively supporting 1080i/59.94 and 1080i/50, as well as 720p/59.94 and 720p/50 HDTV formats.

Advanced Full Digital DSP
This camera is designed from the start base on End-to-End Digital made possible by using CMOS sensors, and includes the benefits of high bit quantization. Especially for the dark areas of the picture, the higher gradation for gamma and other circuits improves the reproduction, providing for more natural color in the shadow areas of the picture. Up to 38-bits are used within the DSP.
Lens Aberration Correction Function
The Lens Aberration Correction function is incorporated for minimizing the loss of resolution and colored edges caused mainly by lens chromatic aberration.

Two HD-SDI Outputs from the Camera Head
Two HD-SDI output signals (1.5G) are selectable between Camera, VF, RET and MON (monitor) for external monitoring at the camera head.
Quick EZ Focus Assist Function
The Quick EZ Focus Assist function is a newly incorporated useful tool, providing very distinct enhancement to the viewfinder signal to enable the camera operator to make critical focus adjustment. The size of area, area color, edge color, and display time on the viewfinder are adjustable in the camera menu.

RET and QTV Channels
The featured base stations for the HDK-73 support four channels of return video (RET), two each for SDI and VBS. The selected channel can be output at the camera as an HD-SDI signal (upconverted if input in SDTV) and used to feed a talent monitor or other purpose. In addition there is a separate prompter channel (QTV) with SDTV input at the base station and SD output at the camera.
Advanced Digital Detail
Both horizontal and vertical Detail Correction circuits for red, green and blue signals are independently and digitally processed. You can obtain the full resolution of a high quality picture with extremely low noise, even under low-light shooting conditions.

Dockable Camera Body
With a docking style camera body, either an FA(Fiber adapter), TA (Triax adapter) or CA (Camera adapter) can be mounted without any external cables depending on the use. A new lower profile and lower weight improve the manuverability for shoulder use.
Moire Reduction Filter (Factory Option)
An Anti-Moire Optical Low-Pass Filter can be fitted in the filter wheel to reduce unwanted moire video patterns when shooting a large LED screen, etc. * If this optional filter is ordered, one of the ND filters must be replaced.

HDR (High Dynamic Range)
The camera provides an HDR function with its HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) curve. It is now possible to shoot a scene with high dynamic range without lossing gradation in the highlights.

Ikegami has developed a new processing engine, AXII, for our next generation HD, 4K, and 8K cameras. This ASIC can per form high speed processing of super high resolution video signals in various formats and frame rates. The HDK-99 utilizes this new processor, making it possible to deliver high quality, high reliability and low power consumption. The camera is also capabile of 16-axis color correction and an improved focus assist function.

The camera provides an HLG (Hybrid Log Gamma) mode, conforming to ITU-R BT.2100 which is an international standard for HDR. It is now possible to expand the range represented f rom dark to bright, providing superb bright pictures with High Dynamic Range, and also achieves r ich colors with wide color gumut. Hybrid Log-Gamma and various kinds of gamma curve can be flexibly set by users.

3G 3-CMOS Full Digital HDTV Camera System

The HDL-23 is a Full Digital and Full Resolution HDTV camera equipped with three high performance progressive CMOS sensors, providing superb color reproduction. The optical block camera head is designed for minimum size and weight allowing use in a wide range of POV applications.
The CCU is DC powered for field use, and the camera system can be controlled by Ikegami’s traditional broadcast remote control panels. Small size, light weight, easy operation and handling make the HDL-23 well suited for applications requiring an ultra-compact HDTV camera.

High Performance Progressive CMOS Sensors
1920 x1080 progressive CMOS sensors are employed to achieve 1000TVL horizontal resolution, F10 sensitivity and 54dB SNR.
Compact and Light Camera Head
The compact and light camera head permits use in various application with easy operation and handling.

Various Output Signals
Not only two HD-SDI outputs, but also other output signals such as DVI, HDMI(Option) are available. And it supports simultaneous outputs for SD VBS and Y/C.
Auto Video Level Control
By synchronized control of Auto Gain and Auto Knee, video maintains the correct level automatically even though lighting conditions change. This feature is beneficial when using compact manual iris C-mount lenses, allowing the iris to be fixed at the best setting for depth-of-focus and sensitivity. The starting gain for AVC can be set at 3dB increments, producing maximum SNR for the each application.

Column Adding
Column adding achieves two times standard sensitivity by using 2 horizontal columns for each pixel. Also, line mix achieves another two times standard sensitivity by using 2 vertical rows. In total four times standard sensitivity can be achieved for applications where high sensitivity is required with some sacrifice in resolution.
ICCP Command Control
The camera supports Ikegami's traditional broadcast control command protocol (ICCP), so our broadcast remote control panels used with other EFP cameras can also be used on this POV camera as a part of the overall broadcast camera control system.

The HDL-F3000 is an Ultra Low-light Multi-Purpose Compact Camera, especially well suited for airborne gyro applications. The camera head is compact and light enough (depth : 80mm / weight:1.0 kg) for use with a telephoto lens where space and weight are limited such as in the gyro ball of a helicopter. It produces color images under ultra low light conditions down to an amazing 0.0068 lx minimum scene illumination (0.000057 lx with Frame Accumulation ON), including under starlight.

    Newly Developed 2/3-inch native 4K CMOS sensors give you Real 4K resolution
    The UHK-435 utilizes three newly developed 2/3-inch 8 megapixel CMOS sensors, each capable of capturing native 4K 3840 x 2160 resolution images. It offers an excellent sensitivity of F10 (in 4K/60p), F11 (in 4K/50p) and a remarkable signal- to-noise ratio. Unlike single chip cameras or cameras using pixel-offset technology, three native 4K CMOS sensors and prism optics provide real 4K resolution, superior color reproduction and no color aliasing.

    Next generation high speed video processor, AXII
    Ikegami has developed a new processing engine, AXII, for our next generation HD, 4K and 8K format cameras. This ASIC can perform high speed processing of HD, 4K (4 x HD) and 8K (16 x HD) super high resolution video signals in various formats and frame rates. The UHK-435 utilizes these new processors that make it possible to deliver high quality, high reliability and low power consumption. The camera is also capable of 16-axis color correction and an improved focus assist function for both 4K and HD modes.

    Equipped 2/3-inch BTA lens mount
    The BTA lens mount enables the use of existing lenses. Optical characteristics such as depth-of-field will be nearly the same as 2/3-inch HD cameras. For demanding applications, such as live sports and events, 4K resolution contents can be produced just as easily as conventional HD programs.

    16-axis color correction
    The color matrix function enables precise color adjustment for all occasions. 16 axes of the color gamut can be fine tuned in both hue and saturation. The function works in real time and is extremely beneficial for live multi-camera applications.

    Wide Color Space
    The performance of the newly developed optical system delivers high dynamic range and a wide color space, supporting the BT.2020 color space specification in the 4K mode, and the BT. 709 color space in both 4K and HD modes.

    Gamma Profile for High Dynamic Range
    The gamma setting is selectable and can be customized to create a specifictone. The “HLG“ (Hybrid Log Gamma), which is in conformity to the international standard (ITU-R BT.2100), is pre-installed and enables more neutral image quality with high contrast for a wider dynamic range. This allows for more image information to be retained with greater headroom and color grading.

    Ultra Wide-Bandwidth Fiber Transmission
    The built-in 40Gbps optical transceiver enables transmission of full bandwidth 4K resolution video signals between the camera and the CCU. Signals include uncompressed RGB 4:4:4 video, 4 lines of return video, 2 lines of QTV video, 4channels of audio, Gigabit Ethernet trunk, etc. Due to the availability of uncompressed RGB signals at the CCU, super high quality signals for Chroma Key are created.

    The UHL-43 is a one-piece Native 4K Ultra High Definition Digital Multi Purpose Camera, employing the same sensors as the UHK-430/435 “UNICAM XE” series cameras, and achieving the same performance.     The UHL-F4000 is a 4K/HD 3CMOS Multi-Purpose separate optics 2-piece camera, featuring a compact, lightweight, and low power consuming camera head (optical block), which makes the camera especially well suited for helicopter camera applications. As the succeeding model of the HDL-F3000, the F4000 is newly equipped with Global Shutter CMOS sensors, which capture natural images completely clear of geometric distortion during still frame analysis and flash band effects. The F4000 is also newly capable of outputting 4K and Cutout HD images, but its significant low light capability has been passed down from its former model. Additional improvements in its image processing functions such as Variable Contrast Control, Image Sharpening Function, and Digital Zoom Function (from 1.1x to 10.0x) will broaden the F4000’s usage.

    Compact Size
    A compact and power saving camera head has been achieved in order to suit its application as a helicopter camera system. The 1.1kg camera head fits in small sized gimbals for example.
    HD CUTOUT Function
    By cutting out an HD image from a 4K image, two videos with different angle of view can be output. Also, the cutout image can be utilized as a 2x zoomed image to further narrow the angle of view.

    Digital Zoom Function
    The UHL-F4000 has a digital zoom function from 1.1x to 10.0x in increments of 0.1, allowing a very smooth and natural zoom. Combined with the optical zoom, the overall zooming of the image looks more natural.
     

    Quality Picture Under Any Condition

    There is virtually no loss of quality caused by the difference in illumination, it can produce high quality pictures under any conditions, day or night.
    ■ Image Sharpening Function
    The Image Sharpening Function boosts an image's edge level when the image is zoomed in for instance. This function can be effective when shooting a car license plate.

    ■ Variable Contrast Control
    The operator can easily reproduce clear images with proper contrast even in situations of bad visibility such as shooting through fog and smoke.
    ■ Variable NR Control
    The remote control panel includes a variable control so the operator can adapt the camera in real time for optimum noise reduction when shooting at night with high gain.

    Other Features
    ■ Optical Fiber Connection
    An Optical Fiber connection is employed between the camera head and CCU, allowing them to be separated by a distance up to 10km. This allows different configuration for a range of applications. * The camera head needs a connection for power (in addition to the fiber connection).
    ■ Focus Assist Function
    Focus Assist Function is achieved by placing the edge components of the 4K image on the HD MON OUT signal. Therefore it is possible to critically focus 4K images using an HD monitor.
